WHAT IS HAPPENING? Auburn Bay will be getting a community garden and social gathering area, on the site currently set aside for the future Auburn Bay LRT Station. This site will be ideal for residents to grow fresh, healthy food, as well as host markets and other gatherings.
Before we begin in earnest, we would like to get to know you, chat about the project, and answer any questions you might have! non-resident volunteers are also welcome to attend this Meet & Greet.

Join us at the Earth Science for Society Exhibition at the Big Four building. We are partnering with Airterra to teach participants about healthy soil and how to make it!

Sunday, March 15: 11:30 am to 5:00 pm
Monday, March 16: 8:45 am to 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Tuesday, March 17: 8:45 am to 2:30 pm
Earth Science for Society showcases hands-on, interactive exhibits demonstrating the importance of the Earth Sciences in our everyday lives. During the event, geoscience volunteers actively guide youth groups and junior high school students through the exhibits, providing opportunities to learn about Earth Sciences and about potential career opportunities.
